Something that makes you smile

Flying over New Mexico on a cross country flight. So many memories here of growing up, of children, grandchildren, poets and teachers. Perhaps memories themselves can smile, beckon to you across countries where there is no time.

A confession

My favorite television is comedy specials and bios on musicians. The rest runs the gamut from Call the Midwife to Fargo to RuPaul’s Drag Race.

The last thing you wrote

I wrote on my musical, and started a poem to my husband’s feet.

Your favourite city

Cairo. But it’s hard to choose. Venice and Honolulu. Paris close behind.

What you’d place in a time capsule

Time itself, especially from this time driven realm. Otherwise, books of poetry and shoes.
